There is a spark in our hearts. In some of us it becomes a roaring flame burning and consuming all our hearts to a point that we glow with a shining light. In some of us it’s barely burning and needs fanning to blaze again. Then there are the one that the spark has gone out, the lost. They wonder around in life feeling nothing as the walking dead. Not knowing what they are missing, but trying to fill the space in their hearts with false lights and selfless love. They are missing out on the glory that the flame of the Light could provide. They stumble around the darkness blind to the love Jesus/God has for us. Some of us get blessed and meet a person who has a roaring flame to help them light their spark again.
I was blind once. Now I try to fan and light the spark of the lost. What about you? Are you blind or in need of fanning? Or do you try to light or fan the spark of someone too?
John 8:12 (NIV) “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Take what you need and leave the rest.
