Oh how bittersweet are the memories of the lost that we keep
They reside inside our minds and can not hide the love that we pine
They bombard our thoughts as we sit here saying our good-byes
Our tears will flow as our emotions become overload
Gentle words are spoken in soft voices as a token
Some silly memory will creep in and laughter will be heard
A moment of happiness will be stirred in our hearts
Oh how our hearts will grieve those lost moments
As the days goes on there will come a time
when there is an ease of the heart and mind
We will remember that the soul wasn’t lost
It has finally found its way home
For all those who have lost someone and know they are in heaven.
John 14:2-4 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.
May peace and love fill your heart.
